A summer festival with autumn and winter concerts
Flâneries Musicales de Reims combines its summer festival with Happy Flâneries concerts and lectures across Reims. In October 2026 the organiser’s website presents the summer edition and picnic concert retrospectively, while selling later events. The official booklet dates the completed summer edition from 18 June to 18 July 2026.
The current programme includes pianist Dmitry Masleev at Salle Louise, Domaine Pommery, on 16 December 2026 at 19:00. It also lists harpist Shamim Minoo at Villa Douce on 5 November at 18:30 and Duo Arborescence at Reims Regional Conservatory on 3 December at 19:00. These are separate named bookings, not one admission to all venues.
Tickets and the venue on the ticket
The organiser links its official ticket service from each programme entry. Select the artist, date and venue before purchase: a Pommery recital takes place at Salle Louise instead of automatically including a Champagne cellar tour. No ticket price is quoted here because the current tariff was not verified.
The website’s 2026 highlights and picnic-concert film provide the organiser’s record of the past summer programme. A future summer edition should use newly announced dates; neither a previous picnic date nor the number of the past edition supplies the next year’s calendar.

Lectures around the concerts
The official October programme lists The Pastoral Symphony lecture at Le Cellier on 16 November 2026 at 18:30 and Are All Orchestras Alike? at the same venue on 7 December at 18:30. The named lectures give a specific early-evening alternative to a cellar visit, with their own programme entries.
For the December Pommery recital, arrange the return from Domaine Pommery after the performance and any planned dinner. A hotel on place Drouet-d’Erlon or rue Buirette is a central Reims base, while the performance is at a different venue in the Champagne-house quarter.
Accessibility and travel
SNCF Connect lists direct Paris Est–Reims TGV journeys from 46 minutes, but the recital’s 19:00 start does not establish an available post-concert return train. Use the selected performance date in the rail search. Our Reims accommodation list links named hotels for visitors staying overnight.

From the first festival to the 2026 season
Reims created Flâneries Musicales in 1990 to connect music with the city’s heritage. The first season offered 100 events and attracted 13,000 listeners to its free concerts. The association records 150 events and 100,000 spectators four years later. Patrons have included Yehudi Menuhin in 1991, Mstislav Rostropovich in 1995 and Montserrat Caballé in 1998.
The association now describes a summer format of around 50 concerts in 30 venues, with approximately one third free. Its Petits Flâneurs programme addresses children; Happy Flâneries continues outside the summer festival. The different series explain why an autumn recital can appear on the same website as a completed July picnic concert.
The completed 2026 summer programme
The official 2026 booklet dates the summer festival from 18 June to 18 July. Its opening concert placed the Prague Royal Philharmonic under Heiko Mathias Forster in Saint-Remi basilica at 20:00 on 18 June. The 18 July picnic concert at Parc de Champagne featured the Orchestre de la Garde Républicaine, Chœur de l’Armée Française and violinist Esther Abrami, with Sébastien Billard conducting.
The booklet’s summer conditions offered free admission to children under 12, except Petits Flâneurs events. Reduced categories included under-25s, students, disabled visitors and jobseekers. Most free concerts operated by arrival order. These were the completed summer edition’s rules; inspect the ticket page for a December recital before assuming the same tariff.
Pair Salle Louise with a separate Pommery visit
Pommery’s Brut Royal visit is listed at €30 self-guided or €36 guided, with one Brut Royal tasting and a 45-minute self-guided duration. The cellars are held at 10°C with 98% humidity. Contemporary art has formed part of the underground visitor programme since 2002, giving a precise daytime counterpart to the estate’s music venue.
Access and facilities
Request seat access, companion arrangements and any hearing assistance from the Flâneries organiser through the named event’s ticket or contact page. Villa Douce, Le Cellier, the conservatory and Salle Louise are different buildings; no single access claim is applied to them all.
For wheelchair seating, the 2026 booklet asks visitors to telephone +33 3 26 36 78 00 because allocated places are limited. Doors opened 30 minutes before concerts and closed 20 minutes after the start; leaving the venue was final. Booking the accessible place with the association is more precise than assuming every historic Reims venue has the same entrance.
Domaine Pommery’s visitor address is 5 place du Général Gouraud. The estate describes 18km of cellars, 60 chalk pits and a descent of 116 steps to 30 metres below ground. A Salle Louise concert and a cellar visit are different bookings; the recital ticket does not buy admission to the underground art route.
The house identifies bus C, stop Pommery, as a connection taking about 20 minutes from the central railway station, and lists free parking in its courtyard. For impaired mobility, contact visites@vrankenpommery.fr or +33 3 26 61 62 56 before booking the accessible visit. The 116-step main route must not be mistaken for the access arrangement offered by prior contact.
For a wheelchair place, use the association’s published +33 3 26 36 78 00 booking contact and name the concert, venue and date. The 2026 booklet specifically asks for advance contact because the allocated spaces are limited.
